RS Technology Glass Processing Line

RS Technology RS 89 series glass processing centers combine operations such as edge processing, grinding, polishing, drilling, milling, and calotte (calotte/dome) cutting of flat glass on a single CNC platform. The spindles operate in the 3,000–18,000 rpm range with a roundness accuracy of <0.003 mm, ensuring high-quality machining from flat glass to complex-shaped parts. With the HSK 63 F tool interface and support for tool diameters up to 150 mm, it covers a wide range of processes.

The patented Multi-Channel Cooling system extends tool life while keeping machining quality stable. It processes glass in the 1.2–19 mm thickness range at feed rates of up to 40 m/min; depending on the configuration, it offers a capacity of 60 to over 300 parts per hour. Manual, robotic, or shuttle loading options and zero setup time for single-piece/small-batch production combine automation with flexibility.
